Briar Rose's Katelyn - SALE PENDING

ARI# 31718912   D.O.B. 5/2/2010  (7 yrs)

Suri, Female, Proven | True Black

Sire: Breakstone Sky Voltage | ARI# 30863712  | True Black
Dam: Briar Rose's Athena | ARI# 31146913  | Medium Silver Grey

Katelyn is a proud, stretchy young lady who is a very dominant, protective member of the herd. She is also quite a goofball, and always the very first to get her nose into anything new. It's her face you see peering over the gate when you come in the barn - and her you see bouncing with excitement when it's time to go outside, come inside, be fed...she's enthusiastic about everything!

Her fiber is more coarse than we like to see on our animals, although well within the typical range for blacks - but we feel she needs to be bred to a male that will bring fineness and added luster to her cria. This is why we bred her to our Payday, who makes fine, lustrous cria without fail. He has also produced gorgeous brown when taken to black before. The pairing resulted in a male that showed in brown as a juvenile - but after shearing is clearly turning out to be a modern rose gray. Kate herself may be a stealth gray.

Kate's bloodlines include Uribe by way of WLRG Dune, as well as many excellent animals of Acero Marka breeding. She has an unusual pedigree which makes breeding her easy.

Kate sells with a complimentary breeding that can be used for her or any of your wholly owned females.

Katelyn was never shown.
