Silima weighed 23 pounds when born and has very solid bone. His fiber is terrific - soft, fine and dense with excellent luster. He is covered with tight locks and is a pleasing young male to the eye. His sire, Peruvian Payday, has been significantly improving the dams he has been bred to so far. Although Silima is white, he will have inherited either fawn or brown genetics from his mother, who has produced a number of blue ribbon winners for us (and is an excellent mother).

As a juvenile, Silima took first place in the white male class at North American, where judge Peter Kennedy was impressed with his excellent luster, uniformity, density and great strength of bone. Silima is a very nice young male, with the outstanding luster that our WRSR Payday has been passing to all of his cria. It's a shame that there were not enough white males for a championship.

Silly followed up by placing fifth in a very large, very competitive class of twelve juvenile white males at the MAPACA Jubilee, right behind his half brother MinnĂ³nar. Judge Wade Gease gave Minno the edge in luster, but noted that Silima is denser. Silima was one of the larger, better grown males in the class, and truly does have incredible luster on a strong, masculine frame. Silima also placed fifth in a large class of 13 in the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. After the Network Fleece Show, Silly's fleece continued to shine, taking first in the MABA, Hi Plains and MAPACA Spinoffs, and Highest Scoring at MABA and MAPACA.

Silima's price includes breeding rights. Silima did a great job with his first cria, which was Highest Scoring Light in the Suri Network Suri Fleece Show Cottage classes. He's also maintaining his own luster, scoring 16/20 for luster in the 2014 Suri Network Cottage Fleece competition and placing first in his class. The judge commented specifically on the quality of his luster for his age.
